How to Login and Register in ONE TIME REGISTRATION in Kerala PSC Thulasi?




Kerala Public Service Commission is the recruitment body for all Institutions under Government Of Kerala. If you wish to earn a Civil Service Job then you should undergo the recruitment process of Kerala Public Service Commission. The Recruitment process Consist of OMR Examination ( Know more about OMR Examination ) / Online Examination and/or Practical Test and/or Physical Efficiency Test and/or Oral Test (Interview) and/or Any other test or examination, which the Commission may deem, fit to hold. The Recruitment process is very time consuming and hard to clear. Since this is a Competitive Exam a candidate is competing with other candidates who try for the same job. If a Candidate wishes to Earn a Civil Service Job Under Government of Kerala then the first step to start with is Candidate Registration. To speed up and organize all the Government - Public related process the government introduced Digitalisation of the Process. The Digitalisation helped to speed up all the Government related process and one can request the service at the comfort of their Home. Due to this, Job Applications will not be accepted in any form other than Applying Online. The Process of registration is a one time process and hence called "ONE TIME REGISTRATION". A Candidate can Register him/her selves via ONE TIME REGISTRATION with His/ Her Voters ID/ AADHAR ID/ Pan Card ID/ Passport Number or any other Valid Identity Card as Identity Proof. After Registering with a Username and Password candidate should Login and upload all the Qualification Details, Personal Details into the profile. After filling all the profile details candidate can apply for the jobs they are eligible for.


Here, We will show STEP by STEP Instructions with Pictures on How to Register with "ONE TIME REGISTRATION".


Before Starting Registration Process:
1. Candidate should have His/Her Photograph in Digital form with following specification:
Maximum Size: 30Kb
Image Dimension: 150X200 Pixels(Width X Height)
Image Format : JPEG
The Photograph should bear the Name and Date of the Photo taken at the Bottom.

2. Scanned Image of Candidate's Signature with following Specification:
Maximum Size: 30Kb
Image Dimension: 150X100 Pixels(Width X Height)
Image Format : JPEG

3. Candidate should have Valid ID proof like AADHAAR card, Account No. of Nationalised or Scheduled Bank, Conductor License, Driving License, ID for Central Employees, ID for PH issued by SW Dept, ID for University Institutions, ID from BAR COUNCIL, ID of Ex-Servicemen, PAN Card , PASSPORT, PEN for STATE EMPLOYESS, Voters ID Card.

STEP 1:

Got to Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission ( http://www.keralapsc.gov.in/ ) and Click on "One Time Registration" image as shown below.

Click New Registration Link as shown below.

Fill all the fields in the Registration form.

Here are some tips:
We Recommend to enter Candidates Email address as User ID . eg: [email protected]
If Candidate's email address have space ( _ ) or Hyphen ( - ) you cannot use email address as USER ID.

Candidate should type all letters shown in the image in the box.
Access Code are Case Sensitive. That means the candidate should type Capital Letter if the image shows capital letter and small letter if the image shows small letter.

After filling up all the fields in the Registration form. Click Register button at the bottom of the page.

After successful submission of the form. A confirmation page will show up. The Candidate can Login to the Account.

Candidate should Login to the Account.

After logging in, There would be 5 Steps to complete Registration.
I . Personal Details
II. Communication Details
III. Upload Photograph
IV. Upload Signature
V. Preview and Submit

Candidate should Complete Each Steps. The Personal Details should be filled and click SAVE & PROCEED.

After Completing all the Steps, The candidate should review all the details entered at the Preview Stage. On verification of all the details entered by the candidate, Submit button should be clicked by TICK marking I AGREE.

Now, You have successfully Completed the Registration Process of ONE TIME REGISTRATION. Now You can Login to the Account and Apply for Available Job Vacancy.

Note: After Submisson, it would be vice to take a print out of the application and keep in safe custody. Writing down the Registered User ID and Password would be helpful in future.

        Every Candidate should Register themselves with ONE TIME REGISTRATION. Candidates can only apply for vacancy if they have a profile with the same. Terms and Definitions:

TPO (Temporarily Passed Over): During a selection year (the date on which the Ranked List of candidates comes into force to the date on which it expires) the reservation turns should not exceed 50% of the total vacancies.While observing the 50% rule it may become necessary to pass over certain reservation turns and to fill up the subsequent OC turns.Such passing over the turn is only temporary and hence referred to as Temporarily Passed over.

NCA (No Candidate Available): When the required number of candidates belonging to Backward Class or SC/ST to fill up the vacancies reserved for them may not be available in the Ranked list.This situation is termed as NCA.In such cases the following procedure is being followed.If a suitable candidate is not available for selection from the group of communities classified as "SC" in the turn alloted from such group,the said group shall be passed over and the post shall be filled up by a suitable candidate from the group of communities classified as "ST" and vice versa If a suitable candidate is not available for selection from any particular community or group of communities (Backward Class) such vacancy shall be kept unfilled, notified separately for that community or group of communities for that selection year and shall be filled by direct recruitment exclusively from among that community or group of communities.

Rotation Chart: There are two rotation charts wherein the turns 1 to 100 are arranged for direct recruitment Viz
(1) For posts included in the Kerala Last Grade Service
(2) For posts other than those included in the Last Grade Service
Turns alloted for Backward classes as well as for Open Competition candidates are specifically mentioned in these charts.

50 % Rule: The Rule stipulates that the number of Backward class candidates advised for a post in a selection year shall not exceed 50 % of the total advice made in that selection year.

Selection Year: One selection year for the purpose of this rule shall be the period from the date on which the Ranked List of candidates comes into force to the date on which it expires.

Ranked List: It is the list of candidates wherein their names are arranged according to their Ranks. Generally, Rank list consists of Main List and Supplementary Llist. Advices for appointment are made from this list based on the ranks candidates and observing the Rules of Reservation.

Main List: Main List is a part of the Ranked List and it includes the names of eligible candidates who secured marks equal to or higher than the Cut-off-mark fixed by the Commission for the respective selection. The Ranks of the Candidates in the Main List are assigned according to the total marks secured by them in the written test, interview, physical efficiency test etc.

Supplementary List: In the Ranked lists, there are supplementary lists also in respect of each Reservation classes via Ezhava, Muslim, SC, ST etc. Supplementary Lists for each Backward Class is prepared by including Candidates belonging to that particular Backward Class who secured marks equal to or above the cut-off-marks fixed for that class by the Commission, but below the cut-off-marks fixed for the Main List. The Candidates from the supplementary Lists for a particular Backward Class are considered for advice when no candidate belonging to that class in available in the Main List for Advice. The supplementary Lists cease to exist when the respective Main List exhausts.

Cut-off-Mark: Inorder to include sufficient number candidates in the Main List and supplementary Lists in a Ranked List, the Commission prescribe minimum marks to be secured by the Candidates for their inclusion in the Ranked List. These prescribed minimum marks are known as Cut-off-marks. Cut-off-marks for Main List and various Supplementary Lists in a Ranked List will not be the same.

Direct Recruitment: Direct Recruitment is the recruitment in which any eligible candidate irrespective of his/her caste or status can apply. The Commission resort to various methods like written test, Interview, Physical efficiency test etc in the process of conducting Direct Recruitment.

Special Recruitment for SC/ST: If a Recruitment is special Recruitment for SC/ST, eligible SC or ST candidates alone can participate in it.

Recruitment by Transfer: Recruitment by Transfer means that the said Recruitment is earmarked for the Candidates serving in other posts under same or different Services, as laid down in the Special Rules for the purpose.
